impasto is a personal music archive for saving songs and albums with your own notes. Posts are grouped on artist and album pages.
Built the archive and API routes with Next.js and added Spotify track and album metadata, artwork, and embedded playback. Implemented Supabase authentication and post storage, and wrote database functions for the feed and artist and album groupings.
Impasto takes its name from the painting technique of layering thick paint.
